New York baseball is officially back on Thursday, March 27th, when the New York Yankees host the Milwaukee Brewers at 3p, and the New York Mets travel to Houston to face the Astros at 4:10p. That’s exactly two weeks away.
To celebrate the return of baseball, we decided to put together the “All-New York Team”, as selected from the locals current 40-man rosters. Let us know what you think in the “RANTBACK” section below.

Starting Pitchers
- Max Fried, LHP
- Kodai Senga, RHP
- Sean Manea, LHP
- Clarke Schmidt, RHP
- Carlos Rodon, LHP
Relievers
- Devin Williams, RHP
- Edwin Diaz, RHP

- AJ Minter, LHP

- Clay Holmes, RHP
- David Peterson, LHP
Injured List
- Francisco Alvarez, C
- Luis Gill, RHP
The All-New York team has a standard 26-man roster plus two players that are currently injured, but unlike Gerrit Cole, are expected back in a reasonable amount of time. Once Alvarez gets healthy, he would replace Torrens on the roster and platoon with Wells. Gil would replace Rodon (who would move to the bullpen in place of Peterson).
Once Alvarez is healthy enough to platoon with Wells, the starting lineup would have 5 Mets and 5 Yankees. Overall 15 Mets and 13 Yankees.
The Subway Series, and Juan Soto, return to Yankee Stadium on Friday, May 16th at 7:05p.
