Mac’s Picks is 11-11 this year on the moneyline, which includes a 7-4 record on Giants game and 4-7 record on the Jets (who we like to call, “the most unpredictable team in the NFL”).
New York Giants (2-9) at Dallas Cowboys (4-7)
Thursday 4:30p FOX
It’s hard to believe that in 2023 the Dallas Cowboys won 12 games and defeated the Giants twice by a combined score of 89-17. This year has been a different story as America’s Team has been ravaged by injuries and mediocre play. Yet, a national audience will be forced to watch these two teams play for the second time in two months. You might recall the Cowboys edged the Giants 20-15 on Thursday Night Football back when the quarterbacks were Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott. Now, with Jones in Minnesota, Tommy DeVito questionable and Prescott hurt, it’s possible the nation will get to see Drew Lock vs Cooper Rush. The good news is that turkey contains tryptophan, which helps your body produce serotonin and melatonin, which helps you fall asleep and avoid bad football.
Mac’s Pick – Cowboys 27 Giants 13
Seattle Seahawks (6-5) at New York Jets (3-8)
Sunday 1p FOX
The coach has been fired, the GM has been fired, a search team has been hired, the QB doesn’t know if he’s going to return next season, the running back’s knee is barking, the defense has lost its luster, the star corner has been playing pedestrian football, and even the die-hard fans have given up and are looking toward the NFL Draft. The only way this Jets team can still play with its fans emotions is if it wins 4 straight games to raise hopes before getting blown out in Week 17 at Buffalo. Don’t worry, we don’t expect that to happen as the Seahawks have rebounded from losing 5 out of 6 to win their last two games. They are currently in first place in the wild, wild NFC West where all 4 teams are separated by one game and tiebreakers.
Mac’s Pick – Seahawks 24 Jets 16
