ROSTER ALMOST COMPLETE
The New York Jets will continue to fine-tune the roster over the next 90 days heading into late July’s training  camp. But the heavy lifting is done — highlighted by 8 draft choices, 4 personnel trades, 8 free agent signings, and 10 extensions — all tracked, graded, and analyzed in New York Jets: Grading Every Draft Pick and Offseason Move.

What’s left for Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey to do?

  1. Finalize Breece Hall’s extension. Kenneth Walker’s 3-year/$43.05m free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs should serve as a template.

  2. Sign a veteran backup QB. Jimmy Garoppolo, Cooper Rush, and Tyrod Taylor remain available. As of now, the Jets QB room behind Geno Smith includes Bailey Zappe (335 career attempts), Brady Cook (153 career attempts), and incoming rookie Cade Klubnik.

  3. Be on the lookout for a veteran linebacker to add depth behind 37-year-old Demario Davis and Jamien Sherwood.
