The NHL is on a 12-day break to introduce the “4 Nations Face-Off”, the world’s first “best-on-best” competition at the highest level since the 2016 World Cup. The tournament starts Wednesday, February 12, with Team Canada facing Team Sweden. The following night (February 13), Team USA gets its first action against Team Finland. Each team’s first two games will be played in Montreal, before the action shifts to Boston next week. All games will be televised in the United States by the NHL’s television partners TNT/truTV/Max and ABC/ESPN.
