Welcome to “Mac’s Picks for Week 6” part two. On Thursday, we proved that we have no idea what’s going on with the New York Giants. We picked Jaxson Dart to beat the New Orleans Saints and backed that up by predicting that the Philadelphia Eagles would cover the spread.
Feel free to skip my Eagles/Giants analysis and scroll right down to Jets/Broncos!

The New York Giants get to roll out their three marquee rookies — Abdul Carter, Jaxson Dart, and Cam Skattebo — on a Thursday night prime time game at MetLife Stadium. Unfortunately for them, they are facing the defending Super Bowl champions coming off an embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos.
The Eagles blew a 17-3 lead, giving up 18 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Also, they had to defend why Jalen Hurts dropped back 38 times while Saquon Barkley only got 9 touches (6 rushes and 3 receptions). The Eagles will be hungry to get back on track and put away their rivals.

Denver Broncos (3-2) vs New York Jets (0-5)
Sunday 9:30a NFL Network
Last year’s trip to London was an unmitigated disaster. The New York Jets fell 23-17 to the Minnesota Vikings as Aaron Rodgers was intercepted with 49 seconds left in the game. Rodgers showed his “veteran leadership” by throwing his WR Mike Williams under the bus for running the wrong route. Despite this, the Jets headed home 2-3, about to play the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in a battle for first place.
48 hours later Woody Johnson attempted to do something bold by letting HC Robert Saleh go. I immediately ranted — in “What Did Woody Do?” — that firing an NFL head coach doesn’t spark a team like it does in other sports. Unfortunately, I was right. The Jets lost 8 of their next 9 under interim HC Jeff Ulbrich. They finished 5-12.
Now, a year later, the Jets return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a 7 ½ point underdog to the Denver Broncos. New HC Aaron Glenn remains respected in and out of the Jets locker room, but “slow start” is an understatement. Glenn is the first Jets head coach ever to lose his first 5 games. Their defense has slipped from being Top 10 under Saleh, to giving up 31.4 points per game (31st in the league). The Jets have a negative 8 turnover ratio (last in the league) and are the first NFL team in at least 90 years to be 0-5 without a takeaway.
Good news? The Jets promised to be a power running team and they are currently averaging 144.4 rushing yards per game (third in the league). More bad news? Denver is only allowing 88.4 rushing yards per game (fifth in the league), and 16.8 points per game (second in the league).
