Welcome to “Mac’s Picks for Week 15”.
Washington Commanders (3-10) at New York Giants (2-11)
Sunday 1p FOX
364 days ago, the Washington Commanders were rolling after defeating the New Orleans Saints 20-19. Behind last year’s rookie sensation Jayden Daniels, the Commanders finished 12-5, won the NFC East and made it to the NFC Championship Game. Unfortunately for DC’s team, Daniels has only played seven games this season and the Commanders are playing out the string.
The Giants haven’t won a game since they upset the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, October 9. However, with Jaxson Dart healthy coming off a bye, and the Giants home for the first time in 28 days, it’s hard not to put your money on Big Blue.
New York Giants 27 Washington Commanders 16
Mac’s Pick — Giants (-2 ½)
New York Jets (3-10) at Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4)
Sunday 1p CBS
364 days ago, these same two teams met in Jacksonville, with identical 3-10 records, when Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams led the New York Jets to a 32-25 over Mac Jones and the Jacksonville Jaguars. A year later, the Jets are rebuilding under Aaron Glenn, while the Jaguars are in first place with a healthy Trevor Lawrence under new head coach Liam Cohen.
With undrafted rooked Brady Cook under the center, and the Gang Green’s defense coming off an abysmal performance against the Miami Dolphins, it’s hard not to put your money on the Jaguars.
Jacksonville Jaguars 31 New York Jets 13
Mac’s Pick — Jaguars (-13 ½)
