Welcome to “Mac’s Picks for Week 18”.
Dallas Cowboys (7-8-1) at New York Giants (3-13)
Sunday 1p FOX
Last week’s victory over the Las Vegas Raiders ended the New York Giants nine game losing streak and ended the seemingly ridiculous chatter about the Giants trading Jaxson Dart and selecting Fernando Mendoza as his replacement. Dart was 22 of 30 for 207 yards passing and added 9 carries for 48 yards and two touchdowns. More importantly, he finished the game healthy and regained some of his lost swagger.
The Dallas Cowboys are three-point favorites having won nine consecutive games against their divisional rivals. They are trying to avoid their first back-to-back losing seasons since 2001-2002, but will they play their starters — including Dak Prescott — the whole game and risk injury? Or will he be pulled early for second-year QB Joe Milton

New York Jets (3-13) at Buffalo Bills (11-5)
Sunday 4:25p CBS
A week ago, many New York Jets fans were disgusted with Gang Green’s effort in their 42-10 loss to the New England Patriots. My message to those fans is — think about how much more you will be disgusted if the Jets rise from the dead, defeat the Buffalo Bills, and drop down in the NFL Draft order. As I said a week ago, embrace the tank.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are balancing the desire to head into the playoffs with momentum against resting their starters. Plus, they are also trying to honor the legacy of their beloved Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park before moving across the parking lot to a brand-new stadium next fall.
